If a tree falls in the middle of the street, they come and take the tree sway; they don’t take away the street.
If you are driving down the street on the way to your destination, the tree has blocked your path, you have several choices, wait for the tree to be moved, drive around it, if that option is available if not then, you have to go another direction.
You would pick one of those options, correct? I bet you wouldn’t get out of the car and leave it in the street.
The obstacles in our days don’t take away our paths. Yes, working to remove the obstacles takes time, and it is hard, and you can be tricked into thinking that no clear path exists. Guess what underneath the obstacles is the path.
Proverbs 3:6- says, “ In all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
What if we lived as if our paths were straight? Yes, all of our paths at the moment have a litter, trash, and obstacles on them. Make time to remove them, drive around them, or find a new direction.
The path still exists. The path is present. In your reflection, ask yourself what work I need to do on the path I am on?
The path is present.
