Comments

I made a commitment to write everyday until the end of 2019. My desire is to experiment with a daily writing habit and see if it is something that I can do during 2020.

The criticism of my idea came fast and furious. Here are the comments that came my way.

“No one will read it”

“You will get in trouble”

“ You need to know who your audience is”

“ if you don’t know your why then you don’t have permission to write.”

What do you think about those comments? Are these the words of someone who is encouraging? Should I hang around with the person who made these comments?

I don’t have a choice. The person who made these comments is me. How should I respond?

A new week!

How is the start of the work week for you? For me it can be challenging when the alarm goes off at 4:40am on Monday.

I immediately begin to long for the weekend. Longing for the weekend isn’t helpful. It deprives me of the gifts that the current week brings.

It can be challenging to alter my story, a story that you don’t realize isn’t supporting you. Yet there is an alternative. One that will allow you to find the gifts that are before you every day.

When you begin your work day ask yourself the following question- Who do you serve ?  The answer to that question will put you on the path to finding meaning and purpose .
